King Receives Invitation from Iraqi President to Attend Arab Summit

His Majesty King Abdullah II has received an invitation from Iraqi President Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid to participate in the 34th regular session of the Arab League Summit, scheduled to be held in Baghdad on May 17.اضافة اعلان

The King received the invitation during a meeting on Sunday at Al Husseiniya Palace with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein.

His Majesty conveyed his greetings to President Rashid through the Iraqi Foreign Minister and reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to ensuring the success of the upcoming summit in a way that serves Arab causes and strengthens Arab unity—especially in light of the current challenges facing the region.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and the Director of the King’s Office, Eng. Alaa Batayneh.
