Jordanian source shares details on King Abdullah’s potential visit to Tehran

AMMAN — According to a Jordanian source, King Abdullah expressed his interest in visiting Tehran in a conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, according to Ammon News.اضافة اعلان

The conversation, which lasted 40 minutes, reportedly took place during a meeting on the sidelines of the Baghdad Conference in the Dead Sea region last December.

The Jordanian source confirmed that the issue of a potential visit was discussed during the meeting, with the understanding that it would take place at an appropriate time.

Iran studying ‘developments’
During the conversation between King Abdullah and Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian official stated that his country is studying the development of relations and cooperation with Jordan.
