Head of the association, Engineer Ayman Al-Khudairi, stressed the importance of partnering with the Engineers' Union and the Engineering Offices Commission because, he said, they are the main pillars along with the Housing Investors Association representing the Jordanian construction sector.

Khudairi praised the engineering offices' role as developers and designers of buildings, as well as their oversight and follow-up role.

He emphasized the need to form the so-called “Construction Council”, comprising contractors, engineers and investors, under the chairmanship of the Jordanian engineer association. He pointed to its important presence in the current stage.

“The construction sector is in need of development, and there are issues to be re-resolved, especially with regard to the laws and legislation governing the construction sector” according to Khudairi.
