For his part, the Syrian Interior Minister expressed appreciation for Jordan's support and solidarity with the Syrian people during this crisis, commending the role of the Jordanian Civil Defense and its personnel for their effective and efficient assistance in extinguishing the fires.

In a related development, Minister Al-Faraya extended an invitation to his Syrian counterpart to visit the Kingdom later this month.
