Jordan receives JD1.8b by Q3 in expat remittances

AMMAN — The remittances of the Jordanian workers abroad increased by 1.2 percent in the first nine months of 2021, compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Central Bank.اضافة اعلان

According to Ammon News, the data shows that Jordanian workers abroad sent home in remittances JD1.8 billion in the first nine months of 2021.

The amount Jordanians abroad sent home in September stood at JD292 million, representing a 3 percent increase over the month before.
