Jordan follows up on newly-discovered human remain found in West Bank

AMMAN — A Jordanian delegation traveled to the West Bank on Wednesday to review Palestinian investigations regarding the discovery of the remains of 15 people on the outskirts of occupied Jerusalem.اضافة اعلان

According to a local media outlet, Palestinian police announced that they had discovered the corpses after receiving information indicating the presence of human skulls and bones in a mountainous area in the town of Beit Hanina. It was later found determined that they are decomposed human remains.

The Palestinian police added that “the public prosecution and forensic medicine teams, who were present at the site, were notified.

The Palestinian Public Prosecution office ordered the transfer of the remains to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to complete the necessary procedures, the police added.
