Jordan exports 15 tonns of dates to Qatar for Ramadan

AMMAN — Qatar is importing 15 tonnes of Jordanian dates to meet its Ramadan needs, according to Al-Ghad News.

Qataris consume between 8 and 10 tonnes of Jordanian dates per month in normal times, but that number increases during Ramadan because of the importance of dates in the holy month, say Qatari importers and traders.اضافة اعلان

Qatar imported 100 tonnes of Jordanian dates in total last year, according to data from Qatar’s Planning and Statistics Authority.
