AMMAN — On Tuesday, Major General Yousef
Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, welcomed Lieutenant General
Hamid Anad Halbousi, assistant chief of staff of the Iraqi Army, Al-Mamlaka TV
reported.

The high-level meeting focused on exploring
mutual cooperation and coordination avenues across various military domains.
Both leaders delved into the latest developments on regional and international
fronts, emphasizing initiatives to advance the interests of the
armed forces in Jordan and Iraq.
Earlier in the day, a convoy of aid comprising
36 trucks loaded with humanitarian and food assistance arrived from Iraq. This
aid, facilitated by the Armed Forces in collaboration with the
Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), is destined for the Gaza Strip. The joint effort
seeks to address the pressing humanitarian needs arising from the ongoing war,
aiming to alleviate the challenging conditions faced by Palestinians in Gaza.
