The ministers warned against ongoing Israeli measures that entrench an apartheid system and adopt an exclusionary discourse that denies the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and their existence in the occupied Palestinian territory.

The ministers emphasized that this legislation constitutes a dangerous escalation, particularly given its discriminatory application against Palestinian prisoners, stressing that such actions are bound to fuel tensions and undermine regional stability.

Furthermore, the ministers expressed profound concern over the conditions of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. They warned of rising risks amidst credible reports of continuous violations, including torture, cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment, starvation, and the denial of basic rights. They asserted that these practices reflect a broader pattern of violations against the Palestinian people.

The ministers renewed their rejection of Israeli policies based on racial discrimination, oppression, and aggression targeting the Palestinian people.

Concluding their statement, the ministers stressed the necessity of refraining from measures imposed by the Israeli occupation that escalate tensions. They underscored the importance of ensuring accountability and called for intensified international efforts to maintain stability and prevent further deterioration of the situation.
