Industry minister, Czech counterpart discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yousef Al-Shamali discussed closer cooperation with the visiting Czech minister of industry and trade, Jozef Sikela, said the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Shamali reaffirmed Wednesday Jordan’s commitment to bolstering bilateral cooperation in the various fields, mainly economic through increasing two-way trade in partnership with the EU, Petra said.

It said he highlighted that there is significant potential for mutually beneficial economic and investment collaboration.

Czechia will assume the Presidency of the EU Council in July, a step which Shamali said may further bolster Jordan’s relations with the EU.

Sikela said that his country is interested in expanding economic relations with Jordan because of its investment potential, strategic commercial location, and positive reforms.
