The project was completed within six months, following a four-year delay.

The new expansion included the establishment of a cardiac imaging (ECHO) clinic, a hearing test and audiometry clinic, and a breast cancer early detection clinic. The hospital was also reinforced with additional medical staff, including anesthesiologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, emergency and orthopedic doctors, an emergency nurse, a pharmacist, and administrative and nursing personnel to meet the needs of the expansion. Enhancements also included expanded waiting areas, additional parking spaces, improved sanitary facilities, and the installation of air conditioning systems.

Hassan expressed his gratitude to Jordan Bromine Company for contributing to the funding of part of the hospital expansion as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.

He also directed the provision of three vehicles to transport elderly and special-needs patients from the main road to the hospital, which is approximately 300 meters away. He emphasized the importance of sustaining the hospital’s operations and delivering high-quality medical and therapeutic services to patients and visitors.

It is worth noting that Princess Iman Governmental Hospital in Ma’adi was the Prime Minister’s first stop during his field visits since the formation of the government. He returned three months later for a follow-up on the expansion works, and this marks his third visit to the hospital.
