Cabinet approves amended Diplomatic Corps regulation

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Monday approved the amended Diplomatic Corps Regulation for 2022, aimed at advancing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, through a reshuffle of the functions of senior leadership positions, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Amendments include the creation of the position of secretary general for diplomatic affairs and expatriates to provide Jordanian expats with optimal services, as well as the position of secretary general for administrative and financial Affairs’ to upgrade administrative operations and ensure stability and monitoring.

The new regulation also aims to enhance competency and entitlement criteria system aims to enhance standards of competence with regard to recruitment, and promotion for diplomatic corps employees.
