Amman – The Cabinet, at its session held today, Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, approved the justifications for a draft amended bylaw to the Administrative Organization Bylaw of the Ministry of Health for the year 2025, in preparation for submitting it to the Legislation and Opinion Bureau for approval in accordance with due process.

The draft bylaw comes in line with the Ministry of Health’s progress in legislative procedures for the draft Medical Committees Bylaw for 2025. The amended bylaw provides for the establishment of a Medical Committees Directorate, which necessitates its inclusion in the Ministry’s administrative organization framework to ensure the fulfillment of operational requirements and the public interest.
Under the proposed amendments, the duties of the director of the newly established directorate and its staff will also be defined, in order to ensure the efficient completion of technical and administrative tasks.
