Body of Jordanian peacekeeper arrives home

AMMAN — The body of Jordanian peacekeeper, Senior Sergeant Jamil Mahmoud Al-Sayyada, arrived at Marka Military Airport at dawn Saturday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) director for planning, organization, and defense resources, Brig. Gen. Yousef Al-Khatib and senior officers received the body, which was repatriated from Mali.

A military ceremony was held in honor of martyr Sayyada, JAF said in a statement.

The serviceman was killed several days ago during an attack on the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali.
