The project was carried out as part of the municipality’s commitment to ensuring public safety and facilitating ease of transportation, despite the road officially falling under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
This road serves as a vital connector between the Qadisiyah area and Amman, as well as other regions across the Kingdom. It significantly improves traffic flow and strengthens connectivity between the districts of Irbid Governorate. Additionally, the road is considered a key route that supports the movement of residents and visitors, facilitating access to essential services and facilities.
Eng. Jamal Abu Ubaid, Mayor of Bani Ubaid, stated that this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance local infrastructure and meet the needs of the community.
He noted that the municipality bore the cost of paving the road due to its urgent condition and its role in improving traffic safety and reducing accidents.
He also emphasized the importance of cooperation between governmental and local entities to provide a safe and comfortable environment for citizens.
The mayor confirmed that the municipality will continue to pursue critical development projects that contribute to improving the quality of life in Bani Ubaid.
