The Ministry told Al-Mamlaka that it has developed a comprehensive guidebook for Hajj, Umrah, and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque. The guide is available in both print and digital formats and has been integrated into the "Wafd Al-Rahman" mobile application.
The Ministry added that a specialized training course was conducted for the religious guides (Murshidun) accompanying the pilgrim convoys. The course covered a thorough review of Hajj and Umrah rituals alongside administrative guidelines. Furthermore, educational lessons and lectures will be held inside hotels in Medina, Mecca, and the Holy Sites, as well as aboard transport buses. Specialized educational material has also been prepared for the Day of Arafah to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals properly and in full accordance with Islamic jurisprudence (Sharia).
Additionally, a dedicated WhatsApp group has been established for the awareness committee to receive and answer questions from pilgrims, guides, and female preachers throughout the Hajj period.
The orientation programs designed for pilgrims include step-by-step guidance on performing the rituals, identifying and avoiding common mistakes, and addressing specific regulations for women and the elderly. The programming also raises awareness about avoiding overcrowding and adapting to sudden schedule changes regarding arrival, departure, and group movements (Tafweej).
Regarding the role of preachers and supervisors, the Ministry explained that they will be responsible for educating and guiding pilgrims from the onset of the journey until their return, delivering lessons on the rulings of the rituals inside buses, hotels, and during the performance of the pilgrimage itself.
