Army Thwarts Drug Smuggling Attempt via Drone

The Southern Military Zone, in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted an attempt on Monday to smuggle a quantity of narcotics using an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) on its western front.اضافة اعلان

The drone was intercepted within the zone's area of responsibility. Border Guard forces applied the rules of engagement after detecting the aircraft, successfully shooting it down inside Jordanian territory. The seized items have been referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.
