Amman makes up 42% of the Kingdom’s population

AMMAN — The Department of Statistic’s most recent data indicates that the population of the capital city, Amman, makes up 42 percent of the total Kingdom population, Al-Rai News reported.اضافة اعلان

According to the deparment, by the end of 2021, Amman’s population had reached 4.642 million.

Irbid came second, with 18 percent of the entire Kingdom population; the city’s population reached 2.050 million as of the end of last year.

Zarqa came third, with a population of 1.58 million, which makes 14.3 percentof the total population of the Kingdom.

It was followed by Mafraq, Balqaa, Karak, Jarash, Madaba, Aqaba, Ajloun, Maan, and Tafileh respectively.
