22,400 divorces in Jordan over past 5 years

AMMAN — During the past five years, around 22,400 divorces took place, and 358,879 couples were married in Jordan, according to official statistics.اضافة اعلان

Al-Ghad News reported that the number of divorces totaled 5,335 in 2017, 4,690 in 2018, 4,608 in 2019, 3,400 in 2020, and 4,396 in 2021.

Marriages in Jordan over the past five years are distributed as follows: 77,700 in 2017, 70,734 in 2018, 67,696 in 2019, 67,389 in 2020, and 75,360 in 2021.
