In 2022, the three gas stations owned by the company filled 35 million gas cylinders, about 3 million more cylinders than in 2021, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

Last year also saw a rise in the number of new gas cylinders sold in the Kingdom, which reached 172,000 gas cylinders, compared to 150,000 in 2021, the CEO noted during a press conference held at the company's office in Amman.
More than 90 percent of the gas consumed in Jordan is imported.
Al-Alawin said that the company’s three stations in Amman, Irbid, and Zarqa have a filling capacity of about 280,000 cylinders per day.

More than 90 percent of the gas consumed in Jordan is imported, the CEO added, noting that the Kingdom currently has a good supply of gas in Aqaba, where it is stored before being transported to the three stations in Amman, Irbid, and Zarqa.

A machine for cleaning and sterilizing gas cylinders has been installed on one of the filling lines at the Amman Gas Filling Station, with a cleaning capacity of 700 cylinders per hour, he said.
