Orange Jordan and the Future Skills Foundation Prepare to Launch the “Fiber Academy” Program
Orange Jordan, in collaboration with the Future Skills Foundation, is preparing to launch the “Fiber Academy” program—an educational initiative aimed at equipping participants with essential skills in the fiber sales sector. This initiative reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting and empowering Jordanian youth in various technical and digital fields.

The program will be officially launched at Orange’s Training Center in Amman. The comprehensive two-month training course will cover core areas such as personal development, English communication, fiber technology, and sales techniques. It targets job seekers, fresh graduates, and individuals interested in sales and telecommunications. Each cohort will include 25 participants, with all sessions held in-person for a total of 240 training hours. The program is designed to produce highly qualified professionals who meet the labor market needs in the telecom and sales sectors according to the highest quality standards.

The “Fiber Academy” program is offered at a training cost of 145 Jordanian dinars per participant, financially supported by the Future Skills Foundation. Trainees will repay this amount in small, interest-free installments after securing employment in fiber door-to-door or general sales roles. This adds a practical and motivating dimension to the program, encouraging direct engagement in the job market.

Orange Jordan emphasized that this initiative falls within its broader strategy to contribute to digital transformation and boost economic growth in the Kingdom. The company expressed pride in this strategic partnership, which aims to empower Jordanian youth by equipping them with essential skills, promoting digital inclusion, and bridging the gap between workforce readiness and market demands.

For its part, the Future Skills Foundation stated that its collaboration with Orange Jordan to launch the “Fiber Academy” reflects its commitment to enhancing employment opportunities by empowering youth and providing high-quality training in technical and vocational fields. The program is funded by the German government through the German Development Bank (KfW).

It is worth noting that the “Fiber Academy” opens new horizons for participants by offering a hands-on training environment that combines technical knowledge with real-world experience. Through direct interaction with industry experts, trainees gain a clear, practical understanding of how fiber sales work—boosting their confidence and preparing them for impactful roles in this dynamic and ever-evolving sector.
