Housing Bank Renews Diamond Sponsorship of "APN", Supporting Key Development Projects for 2026
Housing Bank has announced the continuation of its support for the programs of Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN), renewing its diamond sponsorship of the “Green Caravan” program for the sixth consecutive year. For 2026, the bank has also expanded its support to include a new development and environmental initiatives aimed at enhancing food security and promoting economic empowerment in underprivileged areas.

This sponsorship aligns with the objectives of the bank’s corporate social responsibility program, Imkan by Iskan, particularly across its environmental and social empowerment pillars. Through this commitment, the bank seeks to strengthen the role of civil society organizations working in environmental conservation and to improve access to sustainable livelihoods for individuals in remote communities. These efforts contribute to expanding green spaces, empowering families, and creating employment opportunities while providing farmers with stable sources of income.

As part of its 2026 support, the bank is contributing to four main programs. It continues to back the Green Caravan program, which empowers small farmers through the provision of fruit trees. It is also supporting the Green Irrigation project, which installs solar-powered water pumping systems to significantly reduce irrigation costs and increase annual household income. In addition, the bank is contributing to the Productive Apiaries project by providing beehives, harvesting equipment, and honey production training to rural families.

Furthermore, it supports the Productive Livelihoods project, which establishes model laying houses for hens and provides feed and technical supervision to help beneficiary families achieve self-sufficiency and long-term economic empowerment.

The expansion of this partnership reflects the Imkan by Iskan’s belief in raising awareness of agriculture as a cornerstone of civilization, while supporting underprivileged communities through impactful initiatives that help reduce poverty and unemployment and ensure the sustainability of resources for future generations. This approach underscores the bank’s broader mission to build a greener future and a more productive society.
