The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the death toll of Palestinians has risen to 58,895 martyrs and 140,980 injured, due to what it described as the ongoing genocide committed by Israel since October 7, 2023.

In its latest statement, the ministry reported that 130 people were killed and 495 others wounded in the past 24 hours alone as a result of continued Israeli attacks.
The ministry also noted that the number of Palestinians killed while waiting for humanitarian aid since May 27 has increased to 922 martyrs and 5,861 injured, following the killing of 31 people within 24 hours.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the Israeli army repeatedly opens fire on Palestinians gathered near aid distribution centers, leaving them to face death either from starvation or by bullets.
The ministry further reported that since Israel resumed its large-scale military operation on March 18, 8,066 people have been killed and 28,939 injured.
With these figures, the total death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza has reached 58,895 martyrs and 140,980 injured since October 7, 2023.
